Sami came to us from a rural colony we TNR’d a few years ago. The property owners did not want the kittens back at first then changed their minds. They claimed they needed snake and rodent control and had no plans to feed the kittens or provide any shelter. It was a dirty, dangerous environment filled with ticks & fleas. After many conversations, we finally convinced the owner to surrender the kittens to us. Sami was unapproachable but settled in nicely in the sanctuary. With time, love, and the other kitties as examples, she's learned to trust and now seeks out attention and most importantly, treats! She's bonded with Stevie and Timmy.
