LunaToo

es, we already have a Luna, but the volunteer who rescued this little girl had already named her Luna, so she became LunaToo.

LunaToo showed up on our volunteer’s porch one frigid morning when she was still just a kitten. She was soaked and trembling uncontrollably from the cold. For days she had been seen going in and out of a nearby storm drain, but she was too frightened to be caught until the freezing temperatures finally slowed her down.

Our volunteer quickly wrapped LunaToo in a warm blanket and held her close for over an hour until her shivering finally stopped. The following day, our veterinarian treated her for an upper respiratory infection and started her on medication to help her recover.

Although our volunteer was unable to keep her, LunaToo found her way to a safe and loving home here at the sanctuary. Today, she is a very sweet and outgoing girl who loves attention and can often be found curled up in a sunny window.
