Tippy came to us as from a cruel situation. Her caretaker had failed to notice she was being picked on by a more dominant cat and she was being starved to death. She barely weighed 4 lbs. when she arrived (normal weight is 6 lbs for a cat her size). She was skin and bones. But despite her starvation, she was a sweet and loving cat. She spent several days at the vetís office being treated and given fluids. It was a miracle she was still alive. We convinced her caretaker to turn her over to us and he agreed. She thrived here at the Sanctuary and is such a loveable girl. Her favorite spot is on the heated pad in the window sill, watching the birds in the trees.
